Over on G+ again they have have been talking about retro clones and Teh Badger did this handy line chart. and then someone smart said " OSR games arnt about game books anymore there about the procedure of playing the game." or something like that.
As someone who is often overwhelmed by numbers of books and rules i think after seeing all these versions that it dosent matter what system you play, as long as you are playing something.
